David C. Griffin , partner, is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the area of Personal Injury Trial Law and board certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in Civil Trial. As a personal injury lawyer, David has handled a wide variety of cases ranging from motor vehicle accidents to complex oil field accidents.A graduate from Calhoun High School in Port Lavaca, David earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Austin College. He attended law school at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, where he was a staff writer on the St. Mary's Law Journal and a member of the academic legal society, Phi Delta Phi. Following his graduation in 1987, David and his brother, John, formed the partnership of Griffin & Griffin. Their general trial practice, representing both plaintiffs and defendants, covered a multi-county region in the Coastal Bend area. David is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas. He is active with the Port Lavaca Jaycees and is licensed in the state of Colorado. David resides in Port Lavaca with his wife, Lisa and their three children. |
